Our daughter... we can't wait to see her again!

These are from our ultrasound last week (she was 19 weeks!). Look at that profile! I love her little nose!

Halfway there! 20 weeks!

Here are a few pictures that Davis took today-- I cannot believe how much my baby bump has grown! I think it's finally 'popped' out. Delkus wonders why mommy's belly looks like this!
I cannot believe we are halfway there-- in only 5 months we'll meet our daughter! We cannot wait!

Ultrasound today!

Well today we had another ultrasound-- and baby girl Peden is doing great! She was wriggling and wiggling around and we got some great pictures of her--she is definately a SHE!



We invited my mom Laura up to this ultrasound since this was the 'official' gender ultrasound. She was so amazed at baby peden's features-- according to my mom, our baby will have a turned up nose like me and a brain like davis. let's hope so! cause then she'll be cute and smart!



We also took a video of the ultrasound (they'd given us permission last time so we just did it this time). Anyway, halfway through she asked if we wanted to buy a DVD for $25--- umm no we don't need that since we're video-ing this. Oh well, I guess she didn't realize we'd taken it upon ourselves to use our own HD video camera to capture the moments. The really funny parts are the commentary from my mom & davis!



Her heartbeat was at 140 today and all her organs (heart, brain, kidneys, etc) were as they should be. She is weighing in at a whopping 10 oz, and is in the 45 percentile for size, based on her age (19 weeks, 1 day). This is all great news!

It's a Girl!

Payback for the many years that I tortured my younger sister is on the way! It's a GIRL! Kate and I are so excited!

Baby girl or boy?

We are having a great weekend in Kingwood-- (where Kate grew up). We're in town for Kate's 10 year high school reunion, and last night went to Molly's pub (the only Kingwood bar) and met up with many old classmates. It was a lot of fun to see old faces (not that the faces were old, but people I knew growing up!). It had a whole new dimension being that we now live in the world of facebook and technology, mainly because most people already know what's 'new' in each others lives but seeing one another face to face was great!

My good friends Jenny & Becky Windle (who also graduated with me) are in town for the festivities, and we're excited to see them! Becky sang beautifully and played guitar in our wedding, and Jenny is in the midst of planning her own wedding. Anyway, their older sister is an ob/gyn out here and she had offered a couple weeks ago to do a sonogram if we were in town. Well I figured she meant if we were in town during the week, so I didn't think to call her this weekend since it's the weekend and I know she cherishes her time off work! Well this morning Becky called and said that Stephanie had called and said 'tell Kate if she wants a sonogram I can do one today between 2 & 3:30'!!!

So today we're going to see Dr. Stephanie at 2pm today and hopefully our baby will give us a good view and won't be too bashful!

We are so excited we cannot wait!
